Interviewing and Testing your Bilingual Personnel
Do you have Bilingual Personnel? If not and need to hire one because of a demand in your business for bilingual personnel, who will let you know how proficient if any this employee is in the language? Or, you do have that bilingual employee but he or she might not be working the way you want them to. We can test the employee to let you know at what level of Spanish he or she is at so you will know when and where to use his or her language skills. This is where Hispanic Interaction comes in. We will give your employee an oral and/or written test to understand their proficiency in the Spanish and/or English language.
How do we go about the testing?
We meet with the supervisor to learn about the job duties of the candidate and create a customized test having in mind how he or she will be using there Spanish or English skill in the work place. One of the most important things that your company needs is that this person knows your lingo and that it is well communicated to the rest of the personnel and/or clients.
We will classify them by levels to let you know at what level of Spanish they are at.
For example:
Level 1 – will not pass the test and will be recommended to take Spanish and be retested
Level 2 – will pass but must retest a year later after taking a Spanish course Level 3 – will pass but not classified as totally bilingual
Level 4 – will be classified totally bilingual
We would then send a copy of the test results to the Supervisor and the candidate.
